skates, monsters, skulls & one shot

There's always something going on at Custom Parts & Wear in Mellingen. The shoplifters... um sorry the shopkeepers Manu and Stoeffel are currently presenting an art exhibition with skate decks by the well-known pinstriper and graphic artist Etienne32. A few weeks ago, the vernissage and party took place with lots of guests from all over Switzerland and thanks to the bitchin' weather it was the perfect opportunity to get out our rides one more time before winter. Check out the pics I took in my flickr photo gallery. By the way, the exhibition is on view until november 15.

1949 chevy photos by etienne musslin

These are the best two pics I've seen so far of my 1949 Chevy. Etienne Musslin, a french guy living in Germany, took them a few weeks ago at the Skates, Monsters, Skulls & One Shot vernissage at Custom Parts & Wear in Mellingen. If you like his photographic style as much as I do, you gotta check out his photoblog.

classic custom ads (volume 3)

As I had some time to kill and not much material ready to show you, I decided to do another one of the famous modified 50s car ads. Here are some earlier attempts... a 1953 Chevy and a shoebox Ford.

one more time: the rolling bones do bonneville

Sorry for the lack of updates, guys. I've been very busy the last weeks, so I had to cut down on my internet time. But the weather's getting worse around here and there are almost no more car shows, so I'll be glad to stay inside and track down some neat stuff to post here. Just like the latest great report from the Rolling Bones on their 2008 road trip to Bonneville.
